Members of our Justice Ministry Networks commit to engage in at least four major events in the year:

1) Attend the annual HOPE Nehemiah Action and bring at least three other people with you!  At the annual Nehemiah Action, our largest annual event, our members come face to face with decision makers to press for public commitments to implement researched solutions that tackle prioritized problems. 1500 people strong can show that in Hillsborough County, we have HOPE for justice!

2) Attend three other large annual HOPE-wide Events: a) The fall Convention where we receive issue and community reports, and prioritize future problem areas; b) the spring Rally where we prepare for our Nehemiah Action; and c) the Justice Ministry Celebration — where we celebrate our members work.

Members find they also want to participate on issue research committees, attend local and national training, take part in our corporate drive, recruit other member congregations, serve on the HOPE Board, and as a Team Member help build their congregation’s Justice Ministry Network.

Members also take responsibility for investing in HOPE’s justice work. Becoming a member of our Justice Ministry Network makes creating change in our community possible!

Currently 25 congregations work together to do Justice Ministry in HOPE:
